Overview
Serengeti wildebeest migration is a wonderful display of natural wonders with over two million wildebeests, zebras, and antelope traveling around 450 miles across the plain to ensure their survival. They are very much unaware of the dangers offered by stalking lions and cheetahs amongst predators.
Get an opportunity to see huge crocodiles of the Mara River as they wait for the herbivores to come across the swollen Mara River and enter Masai Mara Game Reserve from Serengeti National Park. The wildebeest migration moves north in August passes through the Lobo area – located north of central Serengeti and the Wagakuria area – remote northern Serengeti National Park along the Mara River, en-route to Masai Mara Game Reserve.
